Business development manager (Community management)
DESCRIPTION
Amazon Global Selling is looking for Community Manager to join the Vietnam team based in Ho Chi Minh City.
The role will cultivate and expand our Seller community, which consists of brand owners, entrepreneurs, and manufacturers engaged in cross-border e-commerce on Amazon. This role focuses on enhancing community engagement and content quality while increasing the number of new Sellers joining.
The candidate must be adaptable, capable of engaging with various contacts to discuss Amazon's Global Selling value proposition, and work with Amazon's cross-regional teams, program and category managers, and other internal stakeholders. The goal is to expand Global Selling's outreach and introduce unique selections across Amazon platforms.
Amazon Global Selling enables businesses worldwide to reach Amazon's global customer base and build international brands. , including over 300 million active users and 150+ million Prime members, helping sellers build international brands.
Key job responsibilities
1. Develop and manage the Seller community, fostering relationships with prospective and current Amazon sellers (brand owners, entrepreneurs, and manufacturers) to drive engagement.
2. Generate leads through Seller influence and referrals, encouraging new members to join the community.
3. Work with existing seller communities locally and globally to share best practices, collect Voice of Seller (VoS) feedback, promote Amazon's product and program adoption within the community by sharing relevant resources and insights.
4. Involve in developing and executing new projects and initiatives with local and regional teams.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Proven experience in community management or business development, preferably in e-commerce.
2. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
3. Familiarity with social media platforms and community-building strategies.
4. Analytical mindset to assess community engagement metrics and feedback.
5. Strong written and verbal English skills. Vietnamese speaking.
6. 7+ years working experience.
7. Bachelor's degree and higher education preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Proven ability to both think strategically and execute plans.
2. Excellent organization skills, and ability to effectively manage multiple projects and to evolve in an ambiguous environment.
3. Enthusiastic and passionate – have a genuine interest in the product. Have the presence and ability to ‘excite’ people about Amazon Global Selling.
4. Ability to interact at management level with medium-to-large Vietnamese and international companies.
