AWS in the Small to Mid Enterprise area has an incredible opportunity to grow our engagement with the most well-known enterprises. We are looking for senior yet hands-on leader who is passionate about leading an organization and using data to help us measure every area of the business and influence decision-making.
As the leader of Small to Medium Business, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include building and managing a highly talented sales team focused on driving adoption and market penetration. This leader will analyze data to extract business insights, develop GTM strategies, scale the business and lead a team of Greenfield Enterprise focused on the early stages of the customer journey. This team will assist prospects to navigate around blockers and sign up with AWS to start their cloud journey. The team will invest efforts to gain a deeper understanding of customer needs and collecting their feedback to extract market leading patterns.
Key job responsibilities
· Build and manage the Small and mid-sized commercial team
· Support the evolution, integration, and implementation of strategies systems/processes to meet the rapid growth of the business and targets attainment
· Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
· Manage the monthly cadenced business reporting to senior leadership and rhythm of business
· Analyze data and trends and make informed recommendations to the commercial teams and managers
· Manage continuously-evolving forecast models and methodologies, owning the quantitative analysis of the performance of our commercial team
· Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets & Ensure customer satisfaction
· Manage contract negotiations

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 15+ years of technology related or business development and Sales experience.
• 5+ People Managing experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Direct field & management experience in working with SMB accounts
• A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
