AWS is seeking an experienced sales professional to lead cloud business with Telcos in Korea. As a senior account manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of cloud computing adoption within the most dynamic companies in Korea. Your responsibilities will include communicating with the customer’s leadership team, with the goals of maximizing customer success and customer satisfaction.
The position will be responsible for providing business leadership and management of key accounts in segment. You will build and maintain key relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment projects, and engage virtual resources. You will help define a CXO relationship strategy within the account, including engaging with the AWS senior leadership team for executive sponsorships, coordinating executive business reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Key job responsibilities
• Work with the Sales manager of Telco segment to help define account strategies and identify opportunities to drive business expansion within the strategic account.
• The position is responsible for teaming with the customer’s IT and Lines of Business organizations to help build strategic relationships across the account, articulating a clear vision and generating enthusiasm, while impacting all business groups. You are responsible for working at the most senior level within the account and help implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
• You will work with all appropriate AWS resources (Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams and Professional Services) to support customer interests. This includes dotted line responsibility.
• Develop and execute against enterprise account plans, meet and exceed your targets.
• Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
• Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.

About the team
Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
- Experience developing detailed go to market plans
