The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Healthcare Team is transforming healthcare by utilizing innovative technologies to support a stronger health system through the best practice use of technology. As part of that effort, we’re supporting hospitals, teaming up with community-based partners, engaging with healthcare departments, and partnering with industry organizations in order to accelerate the healthcare transformation needed across ANZ. Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing awareness and adoption of AWS by engaging with healthcare customers and partners that are transforming the health industry? Do you have the business savvy, healthcare experience and the technical background necessary to help further establish Amazon as a leader in the industry?

As an experienced healthcare professional. you will be seen as an industry leader, holding credibility with the customer base as you bring a deep understanding of the challenges faced across the sector. You will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about the mission, solutions, and technical issues facing healthcare institutions, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. You will establish deep healthcare relationships through your knowledge of the customer’s mission and their environments.

The ideal candidate will possess a healthcare background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the CXO/Department/Ministerial level. You will work closely with AWS Solutions Architects and AWS Professional Services teams to develop and promote cloud best-practices. And you will work closely with the AWS product and services teams to help evolve AWS offerings for more rapid enterprise adoption while addressing issues, concerns, and requests from the field.




Key job responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include helping to define key customers, finding strategic partners, assembling cross-functional engagement teams, and driving business relationships with customers to create new industry wide opportunities. You will enable the AWS sales teams to more effectively drive their day-to-day interactions with key prospects.

A day in the life
As a senior person in this industry you would contribute to program development, investments, channel development and other efforts to make AWS the best fit for our customers’ and partners’ needs. By developing the strategic plan for the industry you will be seen as a thought leader and an executive relationship builder to the broader team, including the global healthcare teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
- Experience developing detailed go to market plans
