Social Channel Manager

The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 19 overseas marketplaces, and supporting local businesses’ success and growth on the Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally.
Amazon Global Selling Marketing team is continuously leading Amazon Global Selling branding awareness enhancement, prospective selling partners’ acquisition and existing selling partners’ education. The social Channel Manager is responsible for managing and growing the company's presence on the social platform, and driving user engagement and growth on social, this role also requires a deep understanding of social insights ,and evolving trends, who shall also understand WeChat ecosystem, including its features, functionalities, Meanwhile, the successful candidate will leverage new technologies and data-driven strategies to create engaging content and drive targeted user engagement, and be able to work in a cross functional, fast-paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
1.Content Creation and Curation:
Develop and implement a content strategy for social channels, ensuring a consistent brand voice and alignment with overall marketing objectives. Create and curate high-quality, engaging content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia formats. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in content creation and social media marketing.
2. Targeted Communication and Engagement: Utilize data analytics and audience insights to understand user behavior and preferences. Leverage Social CRM tools to reach and engage with the target audience effectively. Develop and execute targeted communication campaigns tailored to specific audience segments. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) related to social channel performance Prepare comprehensive reports and insights, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth. Continuously optimize strategies based on data-driven insights to improve overall performance. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, and product teams, to ensure alignment and support for social initiatives. Collaborate with external agencies, influences, or partners as necessary to enhance campaign reach and effectiveness.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing social media channels, preferably with a focus on WeChat or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including content creation, community management, and targeted advertising.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to derive insights from data and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and digital trends.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent English writing skill is a plus.
