About the team
Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile' delivery operations in partnership with third-party delivery companies. We leverage creativity and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver millions of physical products to our customers. Our goal is to make the delivery experience as smooth as possible for our customers and to deploy global delivery solutions for our latest concepts, such as Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants.
Our work operates in two ways. Our 'under the roof' teams process millions of products before sending them to our delivery teams. The human element is at the heart of the team's activities, providing essential support, even during nighttime operations. We primarily focus on operations, with teams present 24/7 at most of our sites.
As for our 'on the road' teams, they work with Amazon Flex, a network of delivery companies. Each year, we continue to raise the bar for customer experience through new delivery services. We are constantly searching for new ways to tackle the logistics challenges of the industry and innovative ideas to reduce our carbon footprint, relying on a fleet of vehicles (including electric vehicles) and cutting-edge technologies.
