Join the AGS Specialists Team in Europe Central as a Sales Specialist for GenAI/ML for Europe Central.

Role is based out of Zurich, Switzerland; responsibilities will cover segments and regions within the AGS Specialists Team in Europe Central team.

Key job responsibilities
As an Area Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for growing adoption, utilization, and revenue for AWS services in a sales region. Sales Specialists are technically savvy resources responsible for identifying opportunities to innovate with customers, influencing the AWS product roadmap, and driving revenue for your AWS service(s).
You will be the direct business owner for assigned segments and accounts to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. You will align and influence GTM strategies and sales plays together with the WWSO EMEA Geo team, and drive customer and partner engagements by participating in AWS field enablement activities.
You will also identify gaps in AWS products or feature sets based on customer insights and partner with internal product teams and account managers to win strategic customer workloads and drive business revenue.

Work with AWS specialists (solution architects, data scientists) to deliver results for your customers.

The WWSO (Worldwide Specialist Organization) GenAI & AI/ML team positions AWS as the best place to run GenAI & AI/ML workloads. Our team helps customers become data-driven organizations and implement GenAI & AI/ML capabilities at scale.
The WWSO works backwards from customers to build and execute go-to-market plans. WWSO teams include business development, specialist sales, and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you’ll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. As a Field GTM Specialist, you will be responsible for growing adoption, utilization, and revenue for AWS services in a sales region. You will gather customer and industry needs and partner with AWS product teams to innovate, develop, and deliver AWS solutions.
GTM Specialists are technically savvy resources responsible for identifying opportunities to innovate with customers, influencing the AWS product roadmap, and driving revenue for your AWS service(s).
You will be the direct business owner for geo-segments, or areas, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes. You will develop and implement influence GTM strategies and sales plays for new or existing services, and drive customer and partner engagements by participating in AWS field enablement activities.
You will also identify gaps in AWS products or feature sets based on customer insights and partner with internal product teams to win strategic customer workloads and drive business revenue.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Solid Consultative Sales and Business Development experience in Software-Technology environments with pipeline creation and revenue delivery responsibilities and proven direct field experience working with customers
- Track record of building rapport with senior C-level stakeholders and previous working domain experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or related data / analytics technologies
- Solid influencing skills to drive the business agenda in partnership with internal and external stakeholders and experience working with cloud-based technologies
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- AI/ML certificates or diploma
- Knowledge of Big Data businesses and technical concepts
- Experience of working with Technology Partners (Software Vendors, System Integrators) in the data & GenAI & AI/ML space
