Amazon's Finance Technology organization (FinTech) builds and maintains the finance technology platforms and services that enable new business growth, compliance with financial and tax reporting obligations, and analysis of our financial data. Through our products, we aim to maximize time spent by Finance teams on high value analysis, reduce the growth of operating expenses, and improve the vendor experience.
We are seeking a skilled UiPath Application Engineer to implement and optimize robotic process automation (RPA) solutions for our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and deploying automation workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency. You will collaborate with our team to identify automation opportunities and deliver high-quality solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential. Key job responsibilities
As an Application Engineer, you will solve technical challenges and act as a mentor to other junior engineers. You'll play an active role in translating business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables and build quick prototypes or proofs of concept in partnership with other technology leaders within the team. You are a specialist in the automation space and proficient in building automation using a variety of technologies including Robotic Process Automation, integration technologies, intelligent document processing, and workflow orchestration tools. You have experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying automation solutions. You bring industry knowledge and stay up to date with the latest innovations and emerging trends in automation and generative AI. You will work directly with customers to understand their requirements and build end-to-end solutions. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Applied Scientists.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3+ experience in RPA development, with a focus on UiPath
UiPath Certified Professional Developer or Advanced Developer certification preferred
Strong proficiency in UiPath Studio and related tools (Orchestrator, Robot)
Experience with UiPath best practices, design patterns, and development methodologies
Solid understanding of process analysis and optimization techniques
Proficiency in programming languages such as VB.NET, C#, or Python
Experience with database technologies (SQL, Oracle, etc.)
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
UiPath Certifications: UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer or UiPath Certified Solution Architect
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with UiPath development
Proven track record of successful large-scale RPA implementations across multiple departments or organizations
Advanced Technical Skills: Expert-level knowledge of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robot, proficiency in advanced UiPath features like Machine Learning, AI, and OCR integration, experience with UiPath Test Suite for RPA testing and quality assurance
Programming and Integration Expertise: Advanced proficiency in VB.NET and C#, strong experience with REST APIs and web services integration. familiarity with database technologies and complex data manipulation
