Sr. Supply Chain Manager - Softlines
DESCRIPTION
Join Amazon Private Brand's dynamic environment as a Senior Supply Chain Manager with a Network Capacity Background, where you will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing various facets of our operations, concentrating on optimizing and managing the flow of inventory within the supply chain network. As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of building and manifesting our capacity plan, logistics optimization, and network design.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sourcing, Business, Operations, Product and program teams, Finance, Procurement, Technology and more. You will utilize your analytical prowess to identify opportunities for supply chain improvements, drive simplification and eventually automation to enhance efficiency, with a particular focus on optimizing the physical flow within the supply chain network. The ideal candidate will not only have strong analytical skills and business acumen, they will also be able to present and visualize data and craft concise and comprehensive verbal and written narratives to influence executive decisions.
Key job responsibilities
• Identify optimization opportunities from Softline (Apparel, Footwear, Accessories) Supply Chain vendor pool
• Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared goals
• Develop supply chain program management mechanisms, invent/simplify processes to drive decision-making in complex network capacity situations
• Communicating complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in written
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of Softline supply chain management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights (good at SQL is required)
- Experience optimize vendor process, including raw material and manufacturing
- Experience working with global stakeholders
