Key job responsibilities
- Structuring, drafting, and negotiating licensing, production, marketing, and other commercial agreements
- Helping launch new sports content properties and reinvent the ways that customers consume sports content
- Providing ongoing legal counsel across a range of fields, including intellectual property, marketing, digital media, and regulatory compliance
A day in the life
You will provide legal support for various teams within the Prime Video business. Prime Video delights customers around the world by delivering must-see sporting events, movies, TV shows, all within a seamless streaming experience. You will be a legal and thought partner for the business on day-to-day matters as well as long-term strategic imperatives. Working directly with business colleagues, you will serve as lead counsel in drafting, negotiating, and closing commercial agreements with sports various content rightsholders, device manufacturers, vendors, and other important business partners; and you will work together with other members of the Prime Video Legal team to deliver results across a range of challenging and ambitious projects. Our lawyers solve a constant flow of novel challenges in a growing and exciting business. You will research, advise, and develop expertise on new product initiatives and regulatory matters that impact your business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualified Lawyer with outstanding academic and legal qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years' post-qualification legal experience in an international law firm or highly regarded in-house team
- Transactional experience, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Creativity, self-awareness, and a good sense of humor
- Incisive business as well as legal instincts
- Sound judgment in ambiguous situations
- Prowess in delivering results independently, as well as collaboratively
- Passion to embrace challenges and aggressively drive meaningful solutions, including amid complexity and uncertainty
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once and commitment to meet deadlines
- Sharp analytical and communication skills
