Amazon is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to lead the Middle Mile Learning Partners team, a strategic shared service organization supporting North America Surface Transportation. This role will drive enterprise-wide learning initiatives, lead a team of Program Managers and L&D Specialists, and partner with senior stakeholders to develop and execute comprehensive learning strategies that enhance operational excellence across the transportation network.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead and develop a team of Program Managers and L&D Specialists, providing strategic guidance, coaching, and performance management
• Partner with senior transportation leaders to identify learning needs and develop comprehensive L&D strategies aligned with business objectives
• Drive the design and implementation of scalable learning solutions across technical, operational, and leadership development domains
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships across Amazon's learning ecosystem to leverage best practices and drive innovation
• Establish learning effectiveness metrics and ROI analysis frameworks to demonstrate business impact
• Manage learning program budgets and resource allocation across multiple initiatives
• Create standardized processes for learning needs analysis, solution design, and implementation
• Lead change management initiatives to support learning program adoption
• Travel 25-50%
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of team management experience
- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience with learning management systems and educational technology
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree
- Experience in change management and organizational development
