The Strategic Account Services (SAS) organization strives to improve the Amazon customer experience by working directly with Selling Partners to enable more selection, reduce defects, and drive growth across their businesses. Today, the 3P Seller business represents approximately 60% of the total Amazon.com sales and continues to accelerate, presenting you with the opportunity to join us to ensure that our customers are engaging with the right SAS services at the right time to best optimize their success on Amazon.

The Strategic Account Services (SAS) organization is seeking a Business Analyst to drive thought leadership and and insights to help our Seller Recruitment and Experience (SRE) team make meaningful business decisions and improve operational efficiency.

As a Business Analyst, you will improve how we identify, recruit and service sellers into the SAS offering best aligned with their success. You will help build dashboards, synthesize data, identify trends and create forecasting models to support business efficiency and efficacy across capacity, enrollments and seller prioritization.

We are looking for a curious, analytical, and customer-insights focused thought leader to drive alignment between our sellers and the programs we offer to help them succeed on Amazon. The right candidate must be able to work independently and will want to roll up their sleeves as we define new mechanisms to scale our business. They will need to be comfortable working across functions and organizational boundaries to develop long-term strategy, while leading and executing against this vision. The Business Analyst, will build partnerships and solve complex and ambiguous challenges by leveraging large datasets and models.


Key job responsibilities
A successful candidate will:

• Drive Insight-Led Innovation: Own and execute end-to-end vision with stakeholders grounded in an understanding of our Sellers (as businesses and personas) and present results to senior leadership. They will work backwards to find the intersection of Seller need and program deliverables.

• Manage Ambiguity: Understand complex business problems across multiple business units, Seller types, and product lines to create hypotheses that translate into requirements and drive alignment to improve our SAS customer experience.

• Customer Research and Analytics: Plan and deliver customer insights by working backwards from Seller needs by determining methodology, creating a project plan, and aligning with key stakeholders to execute.

• Model Methodologies: Recommend key model methodologies to effectively develop forward looking forecasts, create actionable insights, and translate those insights into business initiatives. This role will work with crossfunctional program and analytics teams to determine our strategy to best align our acquisition strategy with our program and capacity.

• Insight Development: Scope projects and lead team to design studies, data collection/data analysis, and provide recommendations to senior leadership.

• Innovation: Develop mechanisms that enable us to measure progress and truly invent for our sellers.


About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering , analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field
- 3+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- 4+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in business or financial analysis
- Experience in customer segmentation, customer behavior analysis, conjoint/trade-off modeling
