The Last Mile team within Amazon Logistics is looking for an experienced Business Developer to drive partnerships supporting Amazon's logistics capabilities in Europe ( 12 months FTC ).
Role must be based in a corporate office. Location can be Paris, London, Milan, Munich, Berlin, Luxembourg.

In this role you will own (1) the expansion strategy execution, roadmap, negotiations and relationships for fleet management partnerships, and (2) cost improvement roadmap, internal tracking mechanisms and reporting of goal status to leadership. You will prepare the launch of Last Mile fleet in multiple countries, working with cross-functional stakeholders. You will develop the ground work for integration of new programs into existing processes. You will develop tracking mechanisms to monitor cost improvement roadmap, work with internal and external stakeholders to identify additional cost improvement solutions with high impact.
You will own negotiating key products and services with Fleet Management Companies (FMCs) that Amazon operations and delivery companies use to manage the Last Mile fleet. You will define requirements, identify and develop solutions leveraging both internal and external capabilities.
To be successful you must be able to dig into seemingly complex business problems, challenge the status quo as needed, by bringing both innate curiosity, a natural inclination to invent and simplify, and a data-driven ability to influence other leaders.

• Be the primary point of contact for Last Mile Fleet expansion and cost reduction initiatives
• Manage stakeholders across the organization to deliver towards a goal and launch
• Set up scalable and reliable ways to measure success and mechanisms to detect issues before they become risks.
• Start with the customer: Understand not just internal teams’ needs, but also Amazon's Delivery Associates and Delivery Service Partners.
• Communicate effectively so all stakeholders understand the direction and vision and are aligned.
• Develop the roadmap and prioritize products, services and projects.
• Lead the end-to-end negotiation of fleet management services with FMCs.
• Ensure FMCs are delivering the service, owning performance management to ensure continued improvement.
• Experience working on negotiations with senior executives and managing strategic partner relationships.
• Experience and ability to present to internal senior leadership for status and alignment.
• Set expectations and obtain commitment on the tech roadmap in partnership with the fleet operations and technology teams and manage backlogs where required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
- Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
- Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of finance and spend processes within Amazon would be useful
