Global Supply Planning Manager
DESCRIPTION
As a Supply Planning Manager at Ring, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global supply chain. You'll focus on production forecast planning based on sales demand, material allocation management across multiple programs. The planning activities will be base on demand priority, driving contract manufacturer (CM) to commit Available to Ship (ATS) plan, and customer expectations while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs. Key job responsibilities
• Develop and execute production forecast, aligned with business objectives and customer demand, to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain for both NPI and MP programs.
• Conduct analysis of production forecast, sales trends, and historical data to optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability.
• Work closely with contract manufacturer (CM) to establish strong relationships, manage capacity planning, monitor component supplier delivery performance, drive Available to Ship (ATS) plan, and proactively address any potential supply constraints or disruptions.
• Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to provide insights, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicate supply chain performance to stakeholders.
A day in the life
The Global Supply Planning Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Material Management (MM), Factory Ops Program Management (FOPM), Global Planning, and Logistic teams, to gather inputs, drive consensus, and execute supply plans effectively.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 8+ years experience in supply chain management, fulfillment management, demand and supply planning, or related fields
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus)
• Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, inventory management, and production planning methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in ODM supply chain management for high-volume and high-mix manufacturing
• Knowledge of factory operations and manufacturing processes
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
• Adaptability and agility in responding to unexpected events and circumstances
• Problem-solving skills, especially in situations without standard processes
• Experience presenting complex information to senior management
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives
