Sr. Hybrid Edge Sales Specialist

AWS is seeking a Senoir Sales Specialist to lead the AWS Hybrid Edge business in Korea. Hybrid Edge today consists of AWS Outposts, AWS Snowball Edge, AWS Local Zones, AWS Dedicated Local Zones, and AWS Wavelength. In this role you will help Korea customers solve their business challenges that require a solution built on a Hybrid Edge service. To do this, we create sales plays, leverage partners, and build new initiatives that drive results for our customers. We also provide critical feedback from customers to inform our product roadmap, and work closely with our partner network to build an ecosystem supporting our customers’ goals. In emerging areas, we play a critical role as the “first in” teams to build markets for new services, domains, or solutions. When a customer needs to innovate and requires a new way to leverage AWS, they count on us to innovate with them to build and deliver what they need.
The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Key job responsibilities
• Defines, builds and deploys sales and business development campaigns around the AWS Hybrid Edge offerings.
• Engages and drives scale at engaging high priority customers and partners about the AWS Hybrid Edge value proposition.
• Engages in senior level customer meetings to discuss customer’s business issues and explores how the AWS Hybrid Edge services can help address and resolve these issues.
• Prepares and gives business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and metrics.
• Leverage your deep domain expertise to create best in class field enablement and sales strategy.
• Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.
• Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.
• Drive revenue growth and meet sales targets

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 7+ years of technical sales in B2B environments, in a solution-sales / technology-related environment experience
- 10+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in AWS products and services, including pricing and technical knowledge
- Experience with opportunity and pipeline forecasting methodologies or equivalent
- Experience developing detailed go to market plans
