Post Silicon Product Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer with expertise in product test data analysis and automation. This experienced product engineer is expected to drive continuous improvement in product definition and demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills to conduct in-depth investigation of issues relating to quality, reliability and production fleet observations using their data analysis expertise.
Our final product is a server, not just the silicon, so you will find yourself stretching beyond traditional silicon product engineering boundaries and dealing with various system issues and data sets, providing ample opportunities to learn system architecture.
You’ll provide leadership in the application of new technologies to large scale deployments in a continuous effort to deliver a world-class customer experience. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you’ll work with thought-leaders in multiple technology areas. Key job responsibilities
Product Engineering:
- Detailed data analysis of ATE Test, SLT test and System test data to drive corrective actions, best known screening methods and provide insight in debug.
- End-to-end automation of data analysis and correlation all the way from WAT, wafer sort, package test and system test to drive yield and test coverage improvements.
- Drive functional and structural test coverage improvement at ATE and system by defining DOEs and characterization efforts needed to collect necessary data.
- Build and own dashboards to help cross-functional teams review key metrics and create automation to generate alerts for various issues.
- Maintain excellent communication with different stake holders - test engineering team, system validation team, HW engineering team, Design team etc.
SoC Materials Management:
- Manage procurement, inventory, and logistics for materials such as silicon wafers, substrates, and packages to support SoC development.
- Collaborate with OSAT suppliers to secure capacity, monitor delivery performance, and resolve material-related issues.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- 10+ years of industry experience in the following
- Using Python for data analysis and automation.
- Semiconductor test insertions/flows and CMOS fabrication process.
- Statistical tools like correlation, predictive modeling, sample testing.
- SQL for data extraction from data bases.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using yield analysis tools like JMP, Yield explorer and creating dashboards in Quicksight, PowerBI or Tableau.
- Experience driving failure analysis/isolation and debug for speed-path issues and defects.
- Experience defining characterization needs for improving test coverage and quality
- Experience using AWS tools - Lambda functions, sagemaker, QuickSight for data analysis and automation.
