DESCRIPTION
Amazon Global Selling has been helping individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers around the globe. Today, more than 50% of Amazon's total unit sales come from third-party selection. The Global Selling team in Asia is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 18 overseas marketplaces, and supporting local sellers’ success and growth on the Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese and other Asia businesses to sell globally. The PM will drive close collaboration with many Amazon’s global teams to support the high-growth global selling business, launching large number of global and local programs and initiatives. We’re now seeking a Promotion and Event Program Manager to drive seller success programs.
Main responsibilities include:
• Manage T1 events in Est. MPs end to end (goal setting, sourcing kick off and tracking, trouble shooting, postmortem)
• Deeply understand promotion tools and manage changes in feature/policy updates
• Partner with merchandising PMs, POCs, SMEs, arc owners and other stakeholders. Help sellers adopt right product, troubleshoot, and receive right guidance
• Partner with marketing on Merchandising products and events mass communication
• Leverage data, business insights and VOS for optimization discussion with MP deals teams and SPP
• Partner with deal operation team for process optimization to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in Merchandising operation
• Support non-T1 events via POC model when necessary
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
