Principal Account Manager, Media & Entertainment

Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing iconic AWS customers in the Media and Entertainment (MEGS) segment ? Are you business savvy to challenge the status quo and propose disruptive value propositions that Customers can envision?

As MEGS Principal Account Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an iconic French Media group. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration. The ideal candidate will possess both a business and technical background that enables to drive engagement at the business and technical level, starting with customer executives and their teams.

He/she should also be team player who is prepared to develop and execute with a team of AWS peers against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets and objectives.

Key job responsibilities
-Interact with CxO in order to develop pipeline, secure lighthouse wins, drive top-line revenue, manage potential escalation and explore strategic partnerships
- Collaborate and build a cohesive team culture with multiple supporting teams;
- Implement sales programs that drive results against key strategic objectives;
- Be operationally excellent by presenting accurate organizational forecasts and write clear, succinct, and compelling business reviews
- Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
- Ensure customer satisfaction

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- BA/BS degree required
- Strong leadership skills, presence; Various years of management experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience dealing with Board Members is a plus.
- Consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets in tech sales.
- Experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing transformational deals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working with partners or sales for ISVs
- Experience managing teams selling SaaS solutions;
- Experience and in-depth knowledge of Central Europe
- MBA/MS degree in relevant field
