Senior De-risking Program Lead, EU 3P Trade Compliance
DESCRIPTION
In Europe and the UK, we continue to observe an unprecedented wave of regulatory changes that impacts Amazon and our Selling Partners, constraining selection and jeopardizing growth. This increases the complexity and cost of selling in EU and makes compliance the primary barrier to launching and growing in this region. Our business team works at the intersection of Selling Partners, Amazon business and authorities in an evolving complex environment.
As a Senior Program Manager in EU3P Compliance programs, you will define the strategy and execution plan to programmatically scale high visibility trade compliance programs across Europe and UK. You will (a) define our strategy to protect the business and the customer experience, (b) influence multiple organizations and executive leadership to shape the way forward and our risk appetite, (c) implement the strategy, and (d) lead simplification initiatives to continuously raise the bar on customer experience.
The ideal candidate is motivated and agile, with strong project management skills. This opportunity requires excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder management and communication skills.
Key job responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategy and the implementation plan to mitigate risks for Amazon (e.g. financial, operational risks) due to trade and cross-border compliance
- Align the strategy with senior leaders and stakeholders
- Work with cross-functional teams across different levels including Amazon 3P business, finance, global trade services, legal, product, technology, and operations
- Define and track the metrics and goals to measure success across your programs
- Proactively identify gaps or blockers to Seller experience, propose solutions and simplification, and drive alignment and implementation across partner teams.
- Communicate the progress on key strategic programs and metrics to leaders and stakeholders
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing opportunities across a wide spectrum of customer engagement levels
- Strong written and oral communication
- Project management for complex initiatives
- Deliver results independently in a high-paced environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on hunting new business
- Experience identifying trends and needs to improve an already closed large-scale technology deal
- Trade and cross-border compliance or operations
- Experience in SQL and analyzing data to drive decisions
- History of developing business strategy in conjunction with senior leadership
