Amazon is seeking a motivated candidate to develop innovative solutions for our European Transportation network, with strong focus on building data pipelines and data driven models to fine tune or create services and optimize our transportation network. The ideal candidate is above all else passionate about data and analytics, on top of enjoying partnering with Amazon Transportation teams to identify strategic opportunities.

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer with a background in data manipulation, setting data pipeline, and statistical modeling/analysis.

Key job responsibilities
- Work with huge datasets, bring data together from different sources and manipulate it to get it in the required format. You should have an expertise in creation and management of datasets.
- Exposure at implementing and operating stable, scalable data flow solutions from production systems into end-user facing applications/reports.
- Detail-oriented and must have an aptitude for solving unstructured problems.
- Understand the business reality behind large data sets and develop meaningful solutions through analytics.
- Demonstrate thorough technical knowledge on feature engineering of massive datasets, effective exploratory data analysis, and statistical model building.

About the team
By joining our team, NetWatch Analytics - you will work across all regions and teams involved in transportation execution, and have a direct impact on our customers and Amazon business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
- Experience with SQL
- Experience in the data/BI space

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
