AMXL JP is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead analysis and execution of transportation network design. This role requires deep diving on overall volume flow between Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers and Delivery Stations, partnering with cross-functional teams to action specific drivers while maintaining and improving customer experience and transportation cost. The candidate will lead programs from the idea inception to implementation while managing multiple, competing projects, and effectively prioritizing.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the Middle Mile Volume Flow initiative that ensures timely and adequate volume flow into sort centers and delivery stations.
- Develop and optimize CPTs, CITs, Transit times within an expanding network, working backward from station arrival timings to ensure cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Work across the JP organization in a cross-functional environment with the forecasting teams, Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, Delivery Stations and Technology teams.
- Develop a standard planning process mechanism, delivers a robust operational plan, clearly documents assumptions and initiatives that need to be executed to meet the plan.
- Monitor quality of the network initiatives implementation, monitors progress of initiatives and makes changes to the plan to reflect in the latest quarterly guidance.
- Foster communication channels and collaboration with the different Supply Chain execution and Long-Term Planning teams
- Drive alignment with multiple stakeholders and partner teams to ensure seamless execution and successful delivery of the business objectives.
- Provide day-to-day support during the rollout/implementation of newer systems/processes and gather feedback
- Create a feedback loop to improve the processes, sets aggressive yet achievable plans by partnering with cross functional teams and leads major network initiatives from design till implementation by collaborating with stakeholders: Peak, Regional optimizations, integrating specific network programs as needed.
- Pull and report data from numerous databases (using Excel, SQL and/or other data management systems)
- Actively seek WW AMXL collaboration & standardization of planning cadences/processes across geographies
- Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers
- Develop financial models comparing different network design strategies
- Provide analysis and recommendations for business lanes with quantitative justification


A day in the life
In this role, your day will be a dynamic mix of strategic planning, collaboration, and execution. You'll lead the Middle Mile Volume Flow initiative, ensuring smooth volume flow into sort centers and delivery stations. Your focus will include optimizing CPTs, CITs, and transit times within an expanding network, working across various teams to develop and implement robust operational plans. You'll monitor the quality of network initiatives, drive stakeholder alignment, and provide day-to-day support during new system rollouts. Additionally, you'll engage in global collaboration, develop financial models, and continuously refine processes to enhance Amazon’s operational efficiency and customer outcomes.

AMXL JP team is a single threaded organization that owns Amazon's end-to-end Heavy & Bulky (H&B) logistics network with our willing and equally customer obsessed partners, offering shipping, service & support for consumers and companies in a safe, reliable, seamless, standardized, and sustainable way that surprises and delights our customers. Our delivery partners are experienced in H&B deliveries, providing special handling services such as Room of Choice Delivery, Installation/Assembly and Recycling/Haul-Away.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Business level of English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA
- Experience with end-to-end heavy & bulky delivery operations
- Experience or knowledge of supply chain management
