We are a team responsible for the search and discovery experience for our customers worldwide. In the background, we index our worldwide catalog of products, deploy highly scalable AWS fleets, and use advanced machine learning to match relevant and interesting products to every customer's query. We provide information, answer questions, and make recommendations to help customers find what they're looking for, and utilize deep learning-based computer vision solutions, like the Amazon App camera search, so customers can easily and quickly search the world around them. We build augmented reality technology, like Amazon’s AR View feature, so customers can envision products they want to buy within their home. We build on Amazon’s personalization technology to help customers discover what they need and want. Our search customer experience is made possible by an innovative team of engineers, research and applied scientists, product and program managers, designers, and economists in Amazon offices around the world. Benefits eXperience and Technology (BXT) ▼
BXT is a completely new organization: Amazon has been reliant on vendor services for benefits, and we're just now taking the opportunity to build in-house technology to provide the best experience for Amazonians! BXT will deliver the Earth's best benefits discovery and election experience to Amazonians around the world. Our specialties are vendor integration at scale and corralling real-world complexities into simple employee experiences. We own our customers' experience even where we do not own vendor systems. We protect customers and stabilize vendor systems with measured caching, prefetch, and bulk strategies. We craft operationally excellent development teams. We insist on small batch delivery at cadence. We build on proven AWS components and invest in high-leverage PXT platforms. We resist building isolated federation layers scoped only to the benefits space. We reuse whatever can be shared and share whatever can be reused.
Consumer Payments ▼
We build Amazon’s payment systems and manage products that delight our customers. Money makes the world go around, and accessing it is critical to satisfy our customers and merchants. We build foundational systems and products that allow Amazon to accept payments for all goods, content and services that people buy in Amazon and around the world. Our mission is to innovate around trusted paying experiences and financial products to enable commerce by anyone, from anywhere, in any way. Enterprise Email ▼
The Amazon Email Services (AmazES) team is an engineering team that sits within the AWS’s Enterprise Engineering organization. We consist of System Development Engineers (SysDE), Software Development Engineers (SDE), Technical Program Managers (TPM), Product Managers Technical (PM-T), Systems Engineers (SysEng), and Software Development Managers (SDM). We own and support the systems that allow annual usage of: 34.65B e-mails (188% YoY 2020 to 2021), over 717,000 e-mail lists, over 1M mailboxes, and protect corporate e-mail from malware, viruses, and spam for Amazonians worldwide.
Enterprise Engineering ▼
We own the key products, services, and tools Amazonians use to securely and reliably access corporate resources, communicate with one another, and collaborate with customers. We build services ranging from network access to customer-facing software to meet the needs of our number one customer: Amazon. Over 600K Amazonians and variable staff rely on our products in 26 regions, over 300 corporate offices, more than 250 fulfillment centers, and over 800 other Amazon locations including logistics centers and physical retail stores.
Global Talent Management & Compensation (GTMC) ▼
Join us in creating a talent management & compensation experience to help Amazonians across the globe build a career of inventing and delivering on behalf of customers. GTMC enables managers to identify, grow, and manage their teams easily and at scale through employee-focused experiences and intelligent products informed by scientific research. Intelligent Cloud Control (ICC) ▼
We operate Amazon's global websites and makes sure they are available, resilient, and efficient. When you type an Amazon URL into your browser, we're the ones making that page appear seamlessly—on Prime Day, or on an ordinary Thursday—so that you can shop, search, or build the things you need. Delighting our customers requires the contributions of thousands of passionate people. ICC also trains and develops engineering teams, fosters collaboration and inclusivity, and drives continuous improvement. We build tools that provide insights and allow teams to create, share, and discover knowledge. Anyone at Amazon can do exciting things; we make it possible for everyone to access the skills and information they need to strengthen teams and keep getting better every day.
People Experience Foundation (PXF) ▼
We are the PXF organization, responsible for building the employee experiences and distribute web services that support Amazon employees every day by teaching and reinforcing our unique Day 1 culture. We do this through technology solutions powered by data, machine learning, and smart automation, that help Amazonians to take actions, guide them through processes, and enable them to self-serve, so that they spend less time in product and more time delivering for customers. We provide the one-stop experience that Amazonians use daily to manage their employment, grow their career, manage their teams and remain connected to life at Amazon. At PXF we serve Amazonians through a human-centred design approach to technology innovations, with the goal of supporting Amazon’s mission to become Earth’s best employer.
PXF is organized into five engineering teams: PXF Experience, PXF Data Services, PXF Content Services, PXF Learn Experience, and PXF Enterprise Document Services. The PXF Experience team owns the one stop desktop experience for Amazonians by building consumer-grade web experiences, web services, and development frameworks that power highly secure, private, and available experiences for all our users. The PXF Data Services team owns the data lake technology that powers the intelligence in the experiences we build. The PXF Content Services team connects our tools and resources through a personalized search experience and content management technology that enables Amazonians to get to the right information at the right time. The Learn Experience team is responsible for building a Multi-Tenant Learning Management System that enables continuous learning innovations for Amazon employees. The PXF Enterprise Document Services team owns the technology that manages the corporate documents lifecycle supporting Amazon’s core businesses.
Time and Attendance (TAA) ▼
We build the tools used every day by more than 1 million employees all over the world. TAA’s mission is to build world-class systems that are intuitive and friction-free for all users, enable management of high volume data with close to zero defects, are available on-demand as new businesses launch, and flexibly support future business innovation. TAA serves Amazon employees across more than 20 countries and a dozen lines of business. We are tackling new, hard problems that Amazon has not solved at scale, creating fundamentally improved ways to avoid defects using highly scalable AWS technologies. TAA has it all - early stage hustle, operational excellence, technical complexity and global scope across multiple Amazon businesses.
Amazon has regular social outings, but they are not mandatory. Colleagues will often socialise of their own accord for weekly dinner or drinks, enjoy sporting events together and organise staff nights out or activities together throughout the year. Be prepared to open up (as much as you want!) with your new workmates, you’ll find they are a very friendly and talkative bunch.

- Kitchens and Kitchenettes: There are 2 kitchens per floor. Fruit is be available at designated fruit stations.
- Vending machines: Vending machines with snacks, drinks and food are located in the kitchens on every floor.
- Business Service Center (Mailroom): Amazonians can receive their parcels and documentation here.
- Mother's Rooms: Mothers Room is equipped with a fridge, sterilizer, first aid bed, chair, sink and first aid kit.
- Quiet Rooms: There is a quiet room which can be used for private time/nap/prayers during the day.
- Waste Management: A separation station consists of four bins within the kitchenette area. The respective waste groups are: Recycling, Glass, General Waste, Compost Waste.
- Wellness Room/Studio: Multi Faith room is located on the Lower ground for your convenience.
- Games Space: Equipped with TV, PlayStation, pool table and board games.
- Bicycles and scooters / motorbikes parking: Available for all Amazonians.
- Locker Rooms/Showers: Available for all Amazonians.
