Principal Product Manager, Technical, Amazon Ads

Job ID: 2940672 | Amazon.com Services LLC

DESCRIPTION

Amazon is investing heavily in building a world class advertising business and we are responsible for major initiatives. We are highly motivated, collaborative and fun-loving with an entrepreneurial spirit and bias for action. With a broad mandate to experiment and innovate, we are growing at an unprecedented rate with a seemingly endless range of new opportunities. As a Principal Product Manager - Technical on the Reporting Experience team you will own the end-to-end product experience including defining the product strategy, product roadmap, and gain a deep understanding of your customer and business landscape. Your contributions will directly lead to new ad products, innovative new experiences, and faster execution for engineering teams. If you enjoy working with high performance teams, being part of a rapidly growing business, and inventing creative solutions to complex product development scenarios, this may be the role for you.

The Measurement and Data Science (MADS) Reporting Experience team is responsible for the software that hundreds of thousands of advertisers use to manage their advertising strategies on Amazon. These tools are also a fast evolving fabric that enable rapid development by teams across Ads. You will collaborate closely with our product and technology leaders, and independently influence the long-term product strategy and vision to meet emerging customer needs and technologies. As a single-threaded product owner and subject matter expert, you will also gain a deep understanding of the end-to-end product architecture and bring the knowledge of our systems to bear as you find ways to incorporate new advertising customer and partner requirements into the product experience. In addition to being responsible for the P&L of this line of business, the Principal PMT is responsible for high-level delivery goals, business reporting to the SVP level, and creating a bold vision for how Amazon Ads meets users where they are and guides them through the next stages of their growth.

Key job responsibilities

They enjoy in diving deep, understanding the technical details, and take pride in solving customer problems. Most important, they will work shoulder-to-shoulder with product leaders, engineers, and software managers to deliver truly innovative products.

About the team
Measurement and Data Science (MADS) delivers scaled advertising campaign measurement and reporting.
