We support the Fulfillment Technologies and Robotics (FTR) team, who build dynamic partnerships between people and intelligent machines. This intricate collaboration helps Amazon fulfill orders with unmatched accuracy.
The Business Strategy and Concepts (BSC) Finance Manager is a pivotal role responsible for strategic support within the FTR group at Amazon. This position supports the consolidated financial performance and future execution across seven primary FTR teams: Amazon Fulfillment Technologies, WW Design Engineering, Amazon Robotics, Mechatronics, Packaging Innovation, Operations Tech Solutions, and Business Strategy and Concepts. The role is crucial in ensuring the accurate compilation of financial plans and reporting against a business roadmap.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead preparation and management of supporting documents for Board meetings, OP reviews, and other critical reporting
- Goal Management Oversee flagship, STEAM, and OLT-level goals (33 for 2025), ensuring alignment and execution
- Operations FTR Senior Leadership MBR Support with BSC Business Lead
- Lead initiative to align ACES and business priorities for operational efficiency
- EU Partnership FTR Business Lead
- Financial clawback management Partner with operations to track and manage financial clawbacks
- Various reporting and modeling opportunities for oversight and refinement
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, or CPA
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
