EMEA Program Manager--Operation Readiness Team, FinOps EMEA Operational Readiness Team
DESCRIPTION
We are building up Operation Readiness Team in Bratislava (BTS). The function is managed through life cycle of TRD, APAR BRD, suboptimal contract signoff, capacity planning, UAT/PVT, SOP design , project launch and hyper-care period before handing over to operation teams, by covering critical projects in all business channels, including:
- New Geo/Business Launches: Amazon is launching one of its core business (Retail, Corp, AWS, logistics etc.) in a country are categorized under new launches:
- Integrations & Migrations: Amazon has acquired a company and had it as subsidiary. Integration of Subsidiary companies system on to Amazon; Compliance/Tax Projects:
- New Tax rules introduced by local regulatory in a geo where Amazon has been doing business. The team will work closely with business, BP, PMO, GAP/GAR SME, EMEA Ops (FinOps Services) and Tech teams closely to drive APAR requirement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Identifying scope of FinOps in new launches
- Validating business and system requirements from requirement documents
- Identifying deviations/manual processes if any to global process and ensure sub-optimal are submitted by project managers
- Defining success criteria, reports & metrics to be tracked/published
- Identifying test scenarios and perform UAT and PVT by working with Ops teams and report status at an agreed frequency.
- Performing FMEA to identify key risks by working with ACES and work with BP/PMs to agree on mitigation plan
- Ensuring Ops teams are trained on the new process
- Analyzing and publish key Metrics in hyper care phase
- Identifying & addressing post launch Processes/Operational issues
- Handing over the process to Operations team post meeting the success criteria
Base pay for this position starts from 1,800 EUR gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, and have strong ownership to drive the result cross the functions
- Strong interpersonal skills, including persuasive written and oral communication skills
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
- Internal and external customer obsession and a work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years experience in Finance
- Identifying opportunities to streamline/standardize
