Legal Counsel, Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented and experienced Legal Counsel to support our rapidly growing Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment business. You’ll be a leader in the legal team that analyzes and advises on a broad range of product and commercial issues, providing day-to-day input on business and strategy. You’ll also be responsible for counseling the sales and business development teams on a broad range of commercial, licensing, technology and regulatory matters, and structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions. You will work directly with the business, serving as lead counsel on strategic issues and deals, and providing day-to-day input on business and strategy, and resolving issues that arise in commercial relationships. You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways, and will build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional academic qualifications.
- Significant post-qualification legal experience
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent
- High degree of independence, initiative, decisiveness and creative thinking, as well as a desire to be challenged.
- Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A mix of corporate law firm and in-house experience is a plus
- Experience working on product counselling
- Lots of curiosity and experience quickly learning new technologies
- Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills
