DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a motivated Economist intern to assist with causal inference research and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in econometrics, statistics, and programming (R or Python). Key responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, data cleaning and analysis, implementing causal inference methods (e.g., difference-in-differences, Synthetic Control, Double Machine Learning, regression discontinuity), and contributing to solving real business problems.

You will learn how to apply causal inferencing techniques on real world data collaborating with economists, scientists, and business managers. These skills will translate well into writing applied chapters in your dissertation and provide you with work experience that may help you with placement.
