Sr. Manager, Systems Development Engineering, Ads Core Services

This role will see you collaborate with a large number of teams across a variety of Advertising products to drive key initiatives to improve our Systems and Support Engineering posture. You will take the lead on driving fast resolution of technical support tickets, build and maintain automation, define and deliver critical systems development tasks such as building and maintaining tools, proactively maintaining pipelines infrastructure, addressing technical risks etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of Software Development or Systems experience, including hands-on development work and object-oriented design.
- 5+ years of proven track record of high-scale hiring and talent management (not dotted line) on teams of multiple disciplines/job families.
- Systems engineering experience (e.g., virtualization, hardware design, operating system tuning), experience building scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Knowledge of Support Engineering practices

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience managing other managers
- Strong engineering fundamentals (networking, network services, operating systems)
-Leading development life cycle processes and best practices, especially in the areas of deployment automation and monitoring
- Strong program and product management skills.
- Experience with distributed systems at scale, including AWS platforms, services and design patterns.
