Amazon Ads is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager to lead one of our CPG teams in Spain. As a key leader in our rapidly growing advertising organization, you will drive the development and execution of strategies that deliver measurable outcomes for CPG brand advertisers and agencies. Your role will involve leveraging Amazon's innovative ad solutions across sponsored, display, video, and audio formats, while contributing to the future direction of our advertising products and services with your team.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will provide strong leadership to the CPG vertical team, fostering a culture of customer obsession, innovation, and strategic thinking. You will develop and execute comprehensive plans to achieve revenue and product adoption goals for Amazon's advertising solutions within the Spanish CPG market, contributing to broader European growth objectives. Building and maintaining strategic relationships with senior stakeholders at key CPG brands and agencies will be crucial, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor on their marketing strategies.

You will drive the adoption of Amazon's CTV and Audio ad solutions among CPG clients, with a focus on innovative upper-funnel marketing strategies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to innovating and creating scalable advertising solutions tailored to the evolving needs of CPG brands in Spain. You will oversee the development and presentation of sophisticated advertising programs and strategic pitches that effectively communicate Amazon's value proposition to CPG clients.

Leading negotiations for significant advertising deals, including upfront agreements with major CPG brands, will be a core part of your role. You will analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform strategic decision-making and product development. Working closely with the leadership team, you will contribute to the overall growth strategy of Amazon Ads in Spain and the broader European market, aligning local initiatives with Amazon's global advertising vision.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in digital advertising sales or partnerships, with a strong focus on the CPG industry. You should have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. A comprehensive understanding of the Spanish CPG market and its advertising landscape is essential, along with deep expertise in CTV, audio, and programmatic advertising. You should possess a strategic approach to upper-funnel marketing strategies and their application in the CPG sector, with the ability to anticipate and respond to industry trends. Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills are crucial, including the ability to engage effectively with senior executives. Fluency in Spanish and English is required; additional European languages are a plus. A Bachelor's degree is necessary, with an MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Extensive experience selling advertising or advertising-like services is highly desirable, along with deep historical relationships with agencies and clients. The ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets is important. Proficiency in sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar programs is valuable.

Digital media sales, consulting, or brand management experience is preferred, with digital sales experience specific to Video and Audio solutions being a plus. A Bachelor's degree is required, with advanced degrees viewed favorably.
