We're seeking a Sr Finance Analyst to serve as a Single Threaded Leader to the AWS Professional Services Finance and Business Leadership, providing insights crucial for informed decision-making.

Key job responsibilities
• Delivering regular, comprehensive financial reporting and analytics to senior leadership, providing insights crucial for informed decision-making.
• Engaging closely with business and finance leaders to co-create business strategies, develop robust financial models, and derive actionable analytical insights.
• Spearheading execution of the long-range strategic plan, annual plan, and quarterly financial and workforce forecast processes.
• Develop and deliver supporting materials for month-end close processes and business reviews with ProServe and Global Services leadership
• Championing process improvement, standardization, and scalable solutions as a thought leader, enhancing finance processes for heightened speed, agility, and insightful analysis.
• Facilitating seamless teamwork, communication, and collaboration across diverse teams, ensuring alignment towards shared goals.
• Upholding compliance with controls and systems while proactively implementing new processes as required to maintain optimal financial reporting standards.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
