Finance Manager, NA Fresh Stores FP&A
DESCRIPTION
North America Fresh Stores within Amazon Grocery is hiring for a Finance Manager to lead Projects, Automations and Modelling for the NA Fresh Stores FP&A team.
Key job responsibilities
• Own and create all financial models for NA Fresh and lead publishing of financial results for all planning cycles Guidance/OP1/3YF/OP2
• Drive automation and scale of financial reporting. Simplify processes for internal stakeholders (e.g., finance peers, and business partners)
• Be the single threaded leader and SME for all NA Fresh Projects and be the key POC for WW Grocery Finance, FP&A, and Tech teams
• Identify processes for simplification, automation of repetitive or time-consuming tasks to drive productivity within the team and org
• Create and enhance scalable ways to manage and solve operational tasks across a large sets of data, while incorporating opportunities to automate
• Organize and prepare data output for downstream teams, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
• Implement and maintain data integrity and project management tools and processes
• Partner with business teams and Finance stakeholders to help develop short- and long-term reporting, models and forecasts
• Lead key analytical projects that influence senior leadership decision making
A day in the life
We are looking for a finance manager with strong modeling skills and financial acumen. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is passionate about the customer experience, who thinks/acts globally, and who will contribute with strategic and impactful reporting. This role requires a self-starter with bar raising skills in financial modelling (advanced excel, SQL) and project management, as well as a keen attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations. They will need to demonstrate the ability to manage a wide range of problem-solving situations requiring extensive use of data modeling and analysis, as well as working with stakeholders across the org to operationalize and scale new and existing planning processes and tools.
This role garners high visibility with regular interactions with various finance, business and tech teams and leaders across Amazon to grow your career and scope.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
