DESCRIPTION

Amazon's Reputation Marketing & Insights team is seeking a creative and high-judgement social campaign manager to guide the content strategy, development, and optimization for its paid social advertising. You will partner across in-house and external creative partners, internal Public Affairs experts, research leads, and media planners to develop compelling social-first experiences for our brand reputation campaigns.

The ideal candidate has a passion for human storytelling and content creation, as well as a curiosity for how to constantly optimize our social media campaign activations. They should have a strong understanding of the current social media landscape and the ability to identify, analyze, and translate trends into campaign activations, when applicable. They thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment, and have a proven track record of develop world class social content with measurable results. They will work closely with agencies that manage the deployment and reporting of our paid social in order to identify optimization opportunities. They are fluent in how to optimize content for campaign objectives from awareness to engagement and will work closely with our organic social and internal communications teams to ensure we area executing a consistent audience experience.

Key job responsibilities
- Ownership: Take pride in brand storytelling and creating compelling content that meets campaign objectives and is useful for audiences.
- Social content strategy: Contribute to social advertising strategies that are in line with our brand reputation campaign goals.
- Content development: Own the development of world class, audience-first paid social creative that integrates into brand reputation campaign, is native to social channels, and leverages third-party-created content when applicable.
- Measurement and evaluation: Use data and audience insights to ensure that we are creating work that our audiences find compelling and useful.
- Social insights: Stay on the leading edge of latest trends and opportunities in the world of social media and provide POVs on where our brand reputation campaigns have opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal social teams to ensure social campaign creative is additive to Amazon’s broader social presence.
- Present ideas and concepts to stakeholders internally and externally.
- Manage multiple projects and meet ambitious deadlines.
- Write and edit social copy used in campaigns social channels.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of digital communications and social media experience at advertising agencies and/or in-house creative departments.
- Proven track record of delivering high quality social media campaigns in dynamic environments.
- Fluent with advertising and content features on: Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging social platforms.
- Experience using a range of audience intelligence and social performance data to inform content development and campaign strategy, using the latest social media monitoring and analysis tools.
- Quantitative and analytical skills including experience working with advertising performance metrics. Understanding of creative development process and media planning.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
