The Amazon Business Category Business Development team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing strategies for Amazon Business. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting customer insights, building channel, onsite and offsite strategies that guide how we go to market with business customers. You will be responsible for partnering closely with the Amazon Business marketing teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and work with the category and business development teams to raise the bar on how vendors participate in marketing and merchandising programs.

Key job responsibilities
- Perform data analysis to understand the unique procurement needs of customers by industry.
- Build category solutions and develop go-to-market strategies to improve customer and vendor experience.
- Build a channel strategy that is tailored to customers in specific verticals
- Partner with the Amazon Business marketing teams for all high value merchandising events and evergreen stores.
- Improve the vendor experience and processes associated with merchandising packages, pricing and execution.
- Develop and execute our strategy for how we launch new brands in our store.
- Analyze data and reports to monitor campaign results and drive strategic decision making.
- Provide clear, consistent, and frequent communication with stakeholders to outline strategy, tactics, goals, and performance of marketing and merchandising campaigns.

About the team
The Amazon Business Category Business Development teams have a charter to grow the B2B business through improving core Selection and Pricing inputs. We do this in three ways: I) Drive direct engagement with our most strategic business relevant suppliers; II) Build tools, resources and systems that allow strategic Amazon Business programs to scale effectively across Category teams and suppliers; and III) improve the customer and supplier experience by acting as the voice of supplier, and informing Amazon Business product roadmap and Go-to-market strategy.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in building, executing and scaling cross functional marketing programs
- Experience in online advertising, marketing, sales or digital media
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- MBA
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
