We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Senior Manager of Customer Education and Enablement (CE&E). This pivotal role will spearhead our efforts in revolutionizing and raising the bar on how we approach communications, IT marketing, IT knowledge content strategy, and modern learning & talent development within Amazon IT. The ideal candidate will be a visionary thinker with strong people and team minded management skills and a passion for leveraging communication, education and advanced tech platform mechanisms to drive people and operational excellence. Key job responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Guide the development and execution of a comprehensive, long-term and innovative strategy for IT communications, content, and learning & talent development
• Align CE&E strategies with Amazon IT's broader goals and objectives
• Actively contribute to IT’s business planning processes, including OP1/OP2, 3YP cycles, MBRs, and QBRs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Amazon and within IT
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and maximize impact of CE&E initiatives
• Contribute to evolving a people centric, diverse, inclusive and empower culture
Team Management and Development
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of subject matter experts
• Balance the need for guidance with respect for the autonomy and expertise of seasoned professionals
• Foster a culture of creativity, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making
• Develop and implement talent acquisition, growth, and retention strategies
Innovation and Trend Analysis
• Establish and track key performance indicators for all initiatives
• Implement data-driven strategies for capacity planning and resource allocation
• Continuously analyze and optimize CE&E programs for maximum effectiveness
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in IT communications, content, and learning strategies
• Implement best practices to ensure consistency, accessibility, and effectiveness of CE&E initiatives
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in leading and motivating global teams of experienced professionals
- 5+ years of experience in program management, communications, content strategy, and/or learning & development
- Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a diverse, tenured team
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategies in a large, complex organization
- Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
- Data-driven mindset with experience in analytics and performance measurement
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, Certifications or relevant advanced degree
- Strong understanding of IT concepts and ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences
- Familiarity with Amazon's leadership principles and operational processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
