Corporate Counsel, Project Kuiper
DESCRIPTION
Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
We are looking for an exceptional attorney to join the legal team supporting Project Kuiper. This role will lead product counseling support globally for strategic initiatives related to our public sector products and services. You will be responsible for counseling Project Kuiper's product, marketing, engineering, compliance, and operations teams on a wide range of issues across our public sector business. You will work directly with the business to handle legal issues in business-centric ways and develop processes that address risk while allowing the business flexibility and freedom to quickly develop services that prioritize and delight our customers.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization or equivalent
- Experience in product counseling, in-house experience, or government experience
- Experience working independently and directly with all levels of legal and business partners or equivalent
