We are looking for an experienced internal audit IT professional to help maintain a high-bar and scale our organization.

Other key responsibilities include leading and owning programs and initiatives across the department, including regulatory inquiries, stakeholder reporting, and operational support.

About the team
The Internal Audit Professional Practices team is focused on operational excellence, continuous process improvements, transformation of the IA function, and alignment of the broader organization towards more streamlined processes and mechanisms with data/technology enabled vision.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 8+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- Minimum 2 years of IT audit quality and program management experience
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Strong IT internal audit and risk management experience, including: performing assessments and audits, designing controls, managing enterprise control frameworks, and prioritizing risk
- Prior experience with audit quality reviews and program management with an IT focus
- Demonstrated ability to effectively drive collaboration
- Results-oriented – ability to motivate, influence, and manage diverse teams
- Track record of successful program management for large, cross functional projects, including rolling out both process and technology-based improvements
- Comfortable working as an individual contributor with other resources to drive change
- Exceptional organizational and project-management skills
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize, summarize and communicate important data Big 4 accounting or consulting firm experience
- Experience with process improvement, Kaizen, and six sigma.
- CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CRMA, and other relevant licenses/certifications highly desirable.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
