Prime Video Trust & Safety programs aim to enable a globally trusted customer experience by ensuring that Prime Video (PV) provides content customers love and trust and accurate, meaningful and complete information to empowering customers to make informed viewing choices for themselves and their children.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day Prime Video Trust & Safety Operations through content review and data labeling activities.
• Influence & execute the compliance strategy and drive the operations roadmap with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Gather, analyze and utilize relevant data to develop ways to improve the overall PV user experience.
• Research and stay up to date on key trends and suspicious patterns across policy areas.
• Participate in content calibrations.
• Review of controversial, sometimes offensive video content in line with PV’s community guidelines.
• Be a compliance subject matter expert for the company, and maintain expertise by regularly performing operational core work, handling escalations and quality audits.

A day in the life
As a Trust & Safety Specialist, you are responsible for working with a global team of Policy, Program, Engineering, Legal and other teams to prevent violating content from appearing on PV and ensuring customers can make informed viewing decisions by accurately assessing maturity ratings. You will use tools and technology to evaluate abuse trends and quality, and develop workflows and processes that maintain our quality / community guidelines. You review decisions about the appropriateness of different content, including considerations of cultural and political sensitivities.

About the team
Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or enforcing worldwide policy, the Prime Video Trust & Safety team is on the front lines of enhancing the PV experience and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

The team you will be joining is based in Calle Blancos, San Jose.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Over 18+ old with Costa Rica national ID or permanent resident ID (Dimex)
- High School Bachelor's Degree
- English B2 proficiency (Read, Write & Speak)
- High attention to detail
- Avid fan of movies and tv series
- We are open to hiring candidates to work out of the following location: San Jose, Calle Blancos, CRI
- Technical Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 mbps download and 2 mbps upload speed from a reliable internet provider
- Must be directly connected to router/modem via Ethernet cable. Cannot use a wireless connection.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Avid fan of movies and tv series
- Work experience in investigations, risk, incident or crisis analysis.
- Comfortable working in an ambiguous and fast paced environment.
- Experience in content policy, anti-abuse, and reviewing online content.
- Experience identifying abuse trends or working in news or policy with passion for international issues, including freedom of expression, online controversial content, misinformation etc.
- Experience with SQL and spreadsheets a plus.
- Ability to critically evaluate and analyze large datasets.
- Self-starter, intellectually curious and creative individual comfortable operating in ambiguity.
- Experience working with global teams.
- Excellent communication skills, open, collaborative and proven team player.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
