Prime Video Trust & Safety programs aim to enable a globally trusted customer experience by ensuring that Prime Video (PV) provides content customers love and trust and accurate, meaningful and complete information to empowering customers to make informed viewing choices for themselves and their children.

We are looking for a results-oriented individual to support Prime Video Trust & Safety risk planning and analysis for global customer trust and regulatory initiatives. You will manage a global team and partner with diverse stakeholders (Policy, Program, Legal, Tech, Science, Product) to mitigate large-scale business risks and drive key business insights. You will be responsible for running large-scale analyses and building metrics/KPIs to scale the Trust & Safety business, while proactively identifying defects and simplifying manual processes.

Key job responsibilities
- Manages a global team of analysts to proactively address emerging business risks.
- Develop and communicate comprehensive KPIs/metrics, business risks, and data limitations.
- Leverage reports and analytics to make recommendations in line with business strategy and goals.
- Partner and collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to drive strategic projects.
- Identify system and process improvement opportunities which will directly influence customer trust, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate change management initiatives.
- Participates in recruitment and selection activities including role modeling through hiring decisions and processes.
- Manages performance and behavior of direct reports through effective 1:1 meetings, coaching and mentorship.
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor always portraying the site and company in a positive light and effectively managing sensitive issues.
- Demonstrates excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently while using departmental resources, policies and procedures.

A successful candidate will need to:
- Communicate ideas and business risk concisely to a wide variety of stakeholders for purposes ranging from informative to need for approvals from executives.
- Embody a true pioneering spirit, willing to “get hands dirty” in a start-up environment while simultaneously developing processes, automation, and delivering results.
- Clearly define data requirements and metrics, working with teams to implement the entire data flow from capture to presentation and management.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously particularly during escalations and high-visibility events.
- Keen on developing and training people to improve skills and capabilities for sustainable and continuous improvement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of direct experience in quantitative research or analysis
- 3+ years in program & project management
- 3+ years building forecasting and/or planning models in Excel or other more advanced tools
- Direct supervisory and people management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Analysis experience in Trust & Safety or Compliance Operations
- Background in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, economics, operations research or related field
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean techniques
- Intermediate experience in SQL
- Familiarity with other scientific and scripting - languages such as Python or R and familiarity with technical systems to deploy production models
- Experience translating key performance indicators and recommendations to senior leaders
- 3+ years of experience managing and developing a team of direct reports
- Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
- Exceptional influencing and leadership skills
- Digital streaming experience
- Strong commitment to exceptional customer experience, and a high level of dedication, enthusiasm, motivation, and persuasive ability in a team and cross-functional environment
