DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented FinOps Quality Control Specialist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of Finance Operations (FinOps) processes. You will be responsible for advanced quality control procedures, process optimization, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our FinOps to ensure we service our vendors in a manner fitting with our "Customer Obsession" philosophy.

Major goal of the function is to identify risks in finance processes and report performance of the operations from a quality perspective. Apart from that this role would do a root cause analysis of the identified defects and partner with business to improve the Quality of service. This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with a critical eye for detail, high customer obsession and aptitude for process improvement and ability to motivate and manage people.


Key job responsibilities
• Execute quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance in FinOps processes and report the health of service from Quality perspective in an easy yet insightful manner.
• Conduct thorough reviews of financial data, reports, and transactions to identify and rectify discrepancies.
• Analyze existing FinOps processes defects data and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and streamline workflows.
• Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to financial operations.
• Develop and implement measures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Utilize advanced data analysis tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in financial data.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members on quality control procedures and best practices along with mentoring improvement projects (Kaizens, BB/GB, JDIs etc…).
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- Knowledge of financial controls and procedures
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and basic excel skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Flexible to work in shifts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Expertise in defect reduction techniques (DMAIC, etc.) and ability to make decisions based on data analysis
- Experience using Oracle Financial Applications or equivalent tools
