Principal Program Manager, Amazon Customer Service

Customer Service Stores Solutions (CS3) is seeking a Principal of Program Management to lead its new business, service, and product launch program.
This is a role focused on driving integration of new strategic and/or business critical programs that align with the CS strategy and vision. You will set a bold vision and oversee high impact cross-functional programs in a multi-cultural environment that helps to improve the customer and employee experience. You will be in charge of new business, service, and product launches, owning scoping, risk evaluation, change management, and readiness for worldwide Amazon Stores CS.
Required for this role is a detailed comprehension and ability to balance operations, technology, and program management. This individual will be able to anticipate future needs of the organization and develop innovative solutions to improving the quality and resource usage of launches. You will excel at stakeholder management and work often with senior leadership to escalate customer experience concerns and risks of new launches.
Key job responsibilities
- Own scoping and integrating new business, service, and product launches across CS.
- Manage org-wide mechanisms to ensure key goals are met.
- Lead strategic and/or critical programs that assist CS strategy and vision.
- Build scalable plans to deal with the most ambiguous situations, assessing resource needs and removing bottlenecks.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
- Experience delivering cross functional projects
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives up to VP level

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
