Sr. WHS Program Manager

The Program Manager III will build processes and work with stakeholders across geographies and market places. We are looking for a strong leader who is passionate about developing scalable systems, driving process improvement and working with multiple stakeholders. The leader will be responsible for partnering with Operations team, field teams and Tech partners. By leveraging lean principles and Kaizens, this individual will build processes to drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk in our processes to ensure a safe, healthful & engaging working environment for our associates across the network. The leader must demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the field teams and influence change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.
The Program Manager III must be an effective communicator who sends clear, concise and consistent written and verbal messages. The person will be required to identify best practices and incorporate these best practices into our standards to continuously improve the processes. The person must possess excellent program management skill, relevant operational background, experience in data analysis. The individual must have ability to work with cross functional teams including WHS leadership in different geographies.Strong self-driven individual, who are passionate about safety and will help build a strong safety culture and compliance.Possess adequate knowledge on influencing people, work with stakeholders in different geographies and time zones.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive WHS programs and deliver on-time meeting all quality deliverable related to the projects.
• Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon WHS Policies.
• Measure overall performance against published requirements in policies. For all deficiencies, identify a plan for corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with WHS Program Managers, Regional Safety Managers and Legal Counsel to ensure compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations.
• Work with technology teams to come up with a long-term scalable solution.
• Work with India WHS Program team & field WHS Managers for on-boarding and delivering solutions.
• Own and deliver on goals in line with India WHS goals.
• Drive standardization of processes to continually improve on quality and SLAs for enhanced customer experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree .
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level.
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's Diploma/Degree
