Senior Tech Program Mgr, Logistics , ISCAP - Fixed
DESCRIPTION
This role is open to locations in: Austin, TX, Bellevue, WA, Cincinnati, OH.
At Amazon, we're working to be the Earth’s most customer-centric company. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. AWS Cloud Logistics (ACL) is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM), to work within the ACL network. The TIPM is responsible for defining and delivering important infrastructure technology programs with broad cross-organizational, cross-regional or significant business impact. The work focuses on very large supply chain implementations for emerging technical products that solve significantly complex or endemic logistical problems.
The TIPM is trusted to operate with complete independence and often assigned to focus on areas where the business and/or infrastructure strategy has not yet been defined. The TIPM may own the roadmap for a broader set of initiatives or manage a portfolio of programs. This individual may be asked to directly lead the design of the solution, implementation and delivery of a highly complicated cross-functional project in an ambiguous or new infrastructure/technology area. The TIPM is expected to consistently bring strong, data-driven, and strategic technical judgment to decisions, have a deep understanding of the core infrastructure technologies in their program and/or broad understanding of Amazon systems/technologies relevant to supply chain logistics.
TIPM will proactively drive business and senior leader reviews, up to VP, aligning teams toward coherent strategies and effective business and supply chain approaches. They identify gaps/opportunities in or between regions, processes, and organizations (e.g., workflows, tooling, operating procedures, etc.). They decompose complex problems into straightforward infrastructure solutions and work to minimize areas of inefficacy. The TIPM would create, optimize, and drive adoption of the critical mechanisms necessary to ensure the ACL supply chain and/or product will be successful in the long-term.
