Raw Materials Program Manager, Amazon Private Brands, Global Raw Materials
DESCRIPTION
Amazon Private Label Fashion is seeking a Program Manager to manage our bulk fabric and color quality surveillance program, ensuring consistent raw material quality across all of our Amazon Essentials apparel products. The Raw Material Program Manager manages all lab dip and bulk fabric and color quality swatch submissions from vendors and mills. They are responsible for evaluating submissions against established standards and providing supplier feedback to maintain the highest quality standards. They are also responsible for assisting R&D Fabric Engineers during the fabric development process, owning communication and tracking of tasks such as requesting sample yardage, collecting fabric specification data and auditing data in internal systems and tools.
Key job responsibilities
- Review bulk fabric swatch submissions against benchmarks.
- Review physical and digital lab dips and PO color swatch submissions against color standards.
- Work with mills and vendors to remediate color and quality issues.
- Work with mills and vendors to input fabric specifications into Texbase.
- Audit IFN x ASIN mapping data during bulk quality, lab dip and PO swatch reviews.
- Manage fabric development timelines (in partnership with US R&D), ensuring fabric supplier/vendor adherence.
- Manage sample yardage requests and tracking.
- Manage physical fabric libraries globally.
- Visits fabric mills periodically to monitor production best practices, audit SOPs and discuss quality feedback.
- May own special projects related to pre-production or production quality surveillance tasks, data collection and vendor engagement.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
