DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support two Seattle-based directors in the General & Administrative People eXperience Technology (G&A PXT (HR)) organization. This exciting role requires a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and has high visibility to senior leaders that make up Amazon’s STEAM. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. Professionalism in dealing with executives inside and outside the company is important, as is a good sense of humor.

Key job responsibilities
- Proactively manage two directors’ complex calendars simultaneously with attention to detail, accuracy, and allocation of time to promote productivity.
- Must have flexibility to balance competing priorities and demonstrate grace under pressure.
- Understand the business priorities and identify process improvements to create efficiency and scale for the executives and their leadership teams.
- Manage scheduling requirements for annual operational planning process, business planning and performance review cycles, and coordinate off-sites and team-based social events with associated budgets and logistics.
- Work in partnership with senior org leaders, functional business partners (e.g., Finance, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, etc.) and other EAs to provide seamless support to the Director and teams.
- Plan executive domestic and international travel.
- Manage expense report coordination and submission.
- Communicate clearly (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate high judgment and decision making in an ambiguous environment.

Amazon’s General & Administration (G&A) PXT organization supports six STEAM organizations: Amazon Security (AmSec), Business &Corporate Development (BCD), Finance and Global Business Services (FGBS), Legal & Public Policy, Corporate Communications & Community Impact (GCCI), and People eXperience & Technology (PXT) and Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) PXT. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience handling administrative details independently, while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
- Experience working with large global teams
- 7+ years of senior level leadership support experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
