About the role: Working in a dynamic environment, you will be responsible for automating dashboards, monitoring key success metrics, managing WBR reports, identifying problem areas and business challenges and collaboratively shaping solutions with different Amazon teams to help optimize and improve the Grocery business. The successful candidate has a passion for extracting actionable insights from data. The candidate needs to innovate, and quickly become a subject matter expert to assess business performance across different Amazon Grocery business. The candidate should have significant experience working with automation, analyzing data, identifying trends, extracting conclusions, and presenting findings in a simple and clear manner using data across various data marts, and align focus on Amazon’s strategic needs.
The candidate should enjoy problem solving, conducting Root Cause analysis and should be proficient in SQL, Excel, and Visualization tools (Tableau, Quicksight or similar) .
Key job responsibilities
Deliver on all analytical requirements across different business areas required for launch of the new initiative
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analysis, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
Perform both ad-hoc and strategic data analysis
Build Dashboards to tell the story and let the data speak for itself
Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new and existing tools
Apply data mining and quantitative analysis to understand ways to improve our content selection, shopping experience and delivery speed for our customers
Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
Build automation to reduce dependencies on manual data pulls
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years of data analytics or automation experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or any related quantitative field
- Working knowledge of Data Visualization tools like Tableau, Quicksight or similar
