Transportation System Specialist, Network Configuration, ECCF
DESCRIPTION
Amazon's Emerging Country Team (ECCF) Transportation Network Configuration team is looking for an analyst in the role of Transportation Systems Specialist who is motivated, enthusiastic and customer-obsessed, with a strong analytical and experience in integrated supply chain systems technology to join our logistics management systems team.
The role is responsible for delving into data and recommending solutions to improve the logistics chain from system perspective. Influence one of the highest visibility/high impact areas in the organization.
This position will be responsible for identifying opportunities and implementing initiatives to help manage projects, implement and improve metrics, improve logistics chain optimization and last-mile routes, and ensure packages move efficiently through distribution centers and carriers across LATAM countries.

Key job responsibilities
As an analyst with the role of Transportation Systems, your responsibilities may include:
• Create and manage the technical structure to support Amazon's transport network through the use of TMS/ERP
• Deliver results through broad cross-functional integration with multiple internal Amazon teams
• Design, develop and implement solutions to utilize technical configurations more effectively to deliver tangible operational and customer benefits
• Support large-scale transportation programs or projects related to transportation network improvements
• Analyze and identify potential business opportunities
• Create metrics and measure program health
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external audiences

About the team
As part of ROW(Rest of World) organization, we formed ROW Transportation central team to support regional operation team from system and product management perspective by working with global tech partners, under which we have ROW Transportation System and Configuration team focused on transportation related system enhancement and configuration
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Advanced English
- Program or project management experience
- Proficiency on transportation/supply chain systems execution
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Working familiarity with statistics and implementation
- Experience working with IT teams and process improvement techniques such as Kaizen or Six Sigma
- Experience with business analysis, research, supply chain or strategic development
- Possess good business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and an analytical approach to work planning and execution
