TPM, 3P Security, Stores Vendor Information Security Assessment (VISA) Program
DESCRIPTION
Stores Vendor Information Security Assurance (VISA) is seeking a highly motivated, Technical Program Manager (TPM) with security assessment experience. The Stores VISA team is responsible for driving ongoing visibility to the security posture of third-party partners within the Stores Business Security Team (BST) and corresponding business organization. There are roughly over 7700 third party partners in Stores alone. The TPM will work closely with the Robotics security and Worldwide Grocery Security teams to ensure successful and secure on boarding for new 3P partners. The TPM will be dedicated to ensuring assessment coverage and 3Ps are meeting Amazon security bar requirements.

The TPM will align with the Stores VISA security engineering team as we enable automated assessments and will be integral in prototyping solutions. The TPM will lead closure of assessment findings and review of security controls meeting Amazon's security bar and will involve security engineering for additional validation as needed.
This position will be based out of Dallas, Texas and may require occasional international travel.
Key job responsibilities
- Scope, plan, implement and deliver security projects and programs, and collaborate with security engineering and senior leaders to align on strategic vision and goals.
- Drive projects cross functionally, build partnerships with other organizations, and work proactively with business and security teams to ensure security objectives are met.
- Collecting/reviewing data from multiple sources to develop solutions.
- Building, evolving, and improving sustainable processes and measurement systems to ensure that security requirements are maintained.
- Security knowledge on current threats, trends and mitigations.
- Skilled in risk management, business risk analysis and making complex business/risk trade-off recommendations and decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity to detailed solutions.
- Ability or capability to assess general information security domains including network security, access management, 3P management, and other general domains.
- Solid foundation in software and security engineering principles.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience working and communicating with both non-technical and technical audiences.
- Comfortable with Amazon writing standards and narrative culture.
- Experience working cross-functionally including both business, operational, and security teams.
