Business Lead, Sports Subscriptions, Sports Partnerships
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and results-driven candidate who can drive the management, growth and global expansion of key Prime Video Channels (PVC) (incl. NBA League Pass) for Amazon's Sports video business. The Sports Partnerships Team within Prime Video brings a growing selection of live sports content to Amazon customers around the world, including NFL Thursday Night Football, NBA and NHL for Prime members, and NBA League Pass and MLB.tv through Prime Video Channels.
Key job responsibilities
• Coordinate various internal and external cross-functional workstreams to ensure success of Amazon’s global NBA League Pass partnership. Collaborate with territory leads on sports channels growth opportunities
• Support writing of updates and deep dive documents for senior leadership
• Learn and be curious of the customer and partner needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to advocate for and drive delivery of features that provide customers with an unparalleled streaming experience
• Have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and business trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of experience working in digital video and/or sports media
- Experience in the sports media industry and understanding of related metrics to measure performance of subscription channels
- Advanced experience with Excel and/or other analytical/Business Intelligence tools
- Strong project management and attention to detail
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Proven experience with end-to-end ownership of major project deliverables
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience working in digital video and/or sports media

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
