Advertiser Success Team (AST) works on optimizing account’s Sponsored Ads performance for Amazon advertisers. As an Ads Success Manager, you will work with a portfolio of advertiser accounts and be responsible in helping them meet their advertising goals by opportunity identification and ads campaign optimization. We are looking for a hands-on, creative, detail-oriented, analytical, and highly-motivated Ads Performance Manager who will assist Amazon advertisers to optimize their ads accounts to achieve their business goals. Additionally, an Ads Performance Manager also gets the opportunity of testing internal tools and gathering/sharing insights with internal product and tech teams.

To be successful in this role, you should have an experience in interacting with clients (phone/email) and be flexible for changes. You play a key role in growing the business by being the Sponsored Ads expert and developing ads campaign strategy and optimization recommendations to help grow clients’ business. Our environment is fast-paced and requires you to be comfortable with working in a deadline-driven environment. You should possess excellent verbal/written communication skills and be able to explain recommendations to clients clearly and effectively. You should be able to thrive in ambiguous situations with strong skills of stakeholder management and communication. You should have great attention to detail, solid capabilities and skillsets of deep diving, data analyzing, judgment making, multi-tasking (in terms of assisting multiple clients with different issues at one time) and more importantly customer delighting.

Key job responsibilities
* Lead a team of campaign performance managers/consultants across Amazon self-service ads products (e.g. Sponsor Products, Sponsor Brand), and Display Ads/Video, etc., to support the success of advertisers' long-term growth with Amazon.
* Partner with Japan domestic Growth Sales (GGS) business and product teams to continuously improve advertisers' campaign performance, drive budget utilization, maximize revenue opportunities, and raise the bar for their ads experience on Amazon.
* Ensure SOP adherence, and continuously driving process simplification and innovation.
* Hire and Develop a high performing team.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree
* Strong analytical skills and logical thinking
* Proficient English communication
* Successful record in engaging and influencing cross-cultural stakeholder teams
* 8+ years experience in people management

Preferred Qualification:
* Fluent Japanese Language
* Good understanding in advertising, digital marketing, or e-commerce
* Experience in tele-sales, customer service, or other direct-to-customer functions
* MBA

Working with their teams, the leader should be able to:
* Build, own and scale programs which eliminate barriers to Advertiser success and help grow their business.
* Coach and support the team to develop advertising solutions that will deliver high performance.
* Define metrics to help improve advertising solutions, provide insights to Sales teams and grow business.
* Prepare weekly / quarterly reviews, business documents
* Set stretch goals and deliver against them on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
* Hire, groom and grow team members.

- Experience in digital advertising and client facing roles with a focus on data analysis
