Tax Analyst, Corporate Projects, International Indirect Tax Compliance Projects
DESCRIPTION
To ensure precise alignment between indirect tax compliance requirements, system configurations, and operational processes, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of tax compliance and supporting corporate strategic initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
- defining indirect tax compliance system requirements globally and ensuring that system implementations will meet those requirements
- verifying indirect tax compliance processes
- driving the implementation of new systems and tools for indirect tax compliance
- working with stakeholders throughout Amazon including Accounting, FinTech, AP, AR to ensure indirect tax compliance system requirements can be met
- Create and maintain comprehensive audit trails documenting requirements implementation
Base pay for this position starts from EUR 2,960+ gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card, career development.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
- 5 +years of experience in tax compliance, systems implementation, or process alignment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience maintaining and operating transaction tax calculation software (e.g. Vertex)
